This is highly recommended.  The Conference will be in San Franciso at the Milton Marks Conference Center, 455 Golden Gate Avenue.  The main conference begins on Thursday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10.  The day before, there is a pre-conference which may be of interest, but is more focused on California law.

Program Overview
In the last four years, we’ve seen a major expansion in self-help services with new staff and a wide variety of creative programs. Even as the economy has begun to recover, self-help remains in high demand to assist litigants with a wide variety of problems. This conference provides an opportunity for programs to learn about promising practices in working with litigants at all levels of the court – from self-help centers to case management and courtroom hearings.

This conference will bring together self-help center providers (including family law facilitators, small claims advisors, legal services providers), court administrators, legal aid providers, and law librarians to learn from one another and experts in the field about the most promising strategies in serving self-represented litigants.

I will be presenting the closing plenary.  I will also be leading a workshop on National Self-Represented Litigation Network – What’s happening throughout the US? and participating in one on Grant Seeking? A Little Goes a Long Way in Technology, with Glenn Rawdon and Marcia Koslov.
